Even British Columbia approved the first registered bitcoin fund manager in September 2017. In North America, marijuana sales totaled almost $7 billion in 2016, with a whopping 30% growth rate. To boot, North American sales are projected to top $20.2 billion by 2021. Now the question everyone wants to know: Will cryptocurrencies be a part of the solution for the Marijuana Industry’s banking issue? All throughout California, thousands of people have been raving about the legalization of recreational marijuana. On November 9, 2016, Proposition 64 legalized using and growing marijuana for personal use. Soon, on January 1, 2018, Proposition 64 will permit sales and taxation for recreational marijuana. Large marijuana companies and millennials are overjoyed while many businesses within the black market are in a panic. The Adult Use of Marijuana Act, also known as California Proposition 64, introduces a whole new world of opportunities for California, but it’s important to consider how this new law will impact California on a bigger scale.

Since starting as CEO at Nutritional High, brand vision and creativity has been top of mind for Frazier and his team. As we discuss, navigating the cannabis space has presented some challenges… but also a host of opportunities. Recently, Nutritional High’s Colorado production and extraction facility (Palo Verde) filled a large order of FLI branded vape pen cartridges for consumer sale. Hi I am here with David Posner, CEO of Nutritional High. Thanks for joining us. First of all great presentation and what do you have planned for Canada?

Well it’s really interesting because I am born and bred in Toronto, so we have been publicly traded in Canada, and we were the first Canadian company to start focusing in on the USA marijuana industry. Our focus started and I guess you could say we first got our feet wet starting with Canopy Growth, doing consulting on the extraction side. We started off with creating some gel caps and different forms of pills.
